It's the little things...

This made my day...

Do you know what it is?

When I turned the shower on this morning and the steam made its way around the shower there was all of this "art" work on the glass doors. Abbey and Shane were at our house last night and Jason was keeping an eye on them. They showered at our house to get ready for bed. One of them "drew" all over the shower! I love it! I laughed out loud when I saw this.
And one more thing. This was left on my counter... It is a "pony" (as I call them). Abbey had given me a pink "pony" when I was in the hospital right after I had delivered Cooper. I have told her more than once that that pink "pony" is my favorite. Sitting on my counter, waiting just for me (thats what I like to think!) was a green "pony". I love that little girl!

To Gym or not to Gym...

Ever heard of My Gym? It is a cute lil' gym for cute lil' ones with a big price tag! I thought Cooper would enjoy going to a class and doing activities with other kids. And I was right - he did! The problem is that 1 session = 4 weeks at $63.00. They make you sign up for at least 2 session which = $126.00. On top of that there is a one time enrollment fee of $25.00. Total =$151.00. Maybe if I was a SAH mom and could commit to one day during the week but the class we could make it to is on Saturdays at 9:15am in Castle Pines which = a 20 minute drive. I just don't want to commit to 8 weeks, however, if I pay $151.00 I WILL be committed! Hummm - what to do.

Yummm....

We have been trying a variety of food lately. So far Cooper has had both rice cereal and oatmeal cereal. We had to stir applesauce in with the rice cereal as he was gagging from the pasty glue that it is! He has had applesauce, peaches, pears and bananas (in that order) and more recently we have tried a couple veggies - green beans and sweet potatoes. It is so much fun to watch his face each time we try something new.

Merry Christmas!

The holidays this year were wonderful! What a different perpective you have of them once you have a little one. We had so much fun and Santa brought Cooper wonderful presents as did Grandmas and Grandpa and Aunts and Uncles. How lucky we are! I will leave this post with a few photos from Christmas...
